Bionik produces Aceyalone’s entire new release…

March 7, 2008 at 10:16 pm (Artists, Bionik) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , )

In addition to this summer’s upcoming Black Ice release and last year’s Supernovacaine   album, Key Wins Productions artist Bionik found the time to produce all 15 songs (and sing on 5) on Aceyalone‘s latest offering, Lightning Strikes [project blowed/decon media]. What was born here was basically a hip-hop album performed over reggae inspired riddums. The result is a bold bit of work that showcases the artistic maturity of one of LA’s most coveted underground legends. Also featured in a limited capacity is Project Blowed‘s dancehall frontman, Jah Orah, as well as Chicago’s Panamanian transplant the mighty Badman Zulu with a quick cameo by Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 on “Eazy“.
